Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)  can impact an individual in many different ways, ranging in severity greatly. TBI can also impact families of the individual who suffers the injury. On May 18, 2017, at 11:00 am Eastern, Dr. Heidi Knock, Staff Psychologist of the Polytrauma Unit at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Clinic will be facilitating an in-depth conversation about TBI. Dr. Knock will give an overview of Traumatic Brain Injury and discuss the following in relation to TBI:  

  • Families relationships/dynamics
  • Occupation and education
  • Therapeutic implications and intervention
  • Rehabilitation and recovery
  • Treatment considerations
  • Accommodations
