About this Episode
As a response to Dr. Jill Biden’s address at the 2016 AERA annual meeting to study and serve military families, this Valdosta State University Professor was inspired to start a research initiative looking at dependents in military families who are currently attending college. This 60-minute podcast looks at the research and its implications. *Recording edited on April 9, 2018*

Dr. Meagan Arrastia-Chisholm is an Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology at Valdosta State University in the Psychology, Counseling, and Family Therapy Department. Her research interests include self-regulation, teacher beliefs, literacy instruction, and dependents in military families attending college.
